Who We Are: We’re David and Stacey, full-time voyagers aboard Stinkpot, a classic 1982 44’ DeFever Offshore Cruiser. We live aboard year-round and document real-world cruising life as it happens—on the hook, in marinas, underway, and during refits and repairs.
David brings deep experience in navigation and marine technology, while Stacey leads our storytelling, photography, and social media presence. Together, we share practical insights rooted in lived experience, not marketing copy.
What We Do: We create authentic, experience-based content focused on:
Life aboard a full-time cruising trawler
Real-world use of marine gear and systems
Marinas, anchorages, and cruising destinations
Maintenance, upgrades, and operational decision-making
Our content spans written posts, photography, and social media, with an emphasis on clarity, honesty, and usefulness to other cruisers.
Why It Matters:
We cruise full-time and continuously—this is not a seasonal or hypothetical platform.
We completed the Great Loop in 2020 and continue to cruise inland and coastal waterways as whim and season suggest.
Our audience includes experienced cruisers, Loopers, and those actively planning or upgrading for extended cruising.
Our visibility is built on trust and long-term engagement, not one-off promotions.
Partnership Opportunities: We’re open to working with:
Marinas and boatyards
Marine equipment and technology companies
Cruising destinations and service providers
The places we visit and the gear we use often become reference points for other cruisers, offering practical insights for marinas, service providers, and fellow boaters alike.
Partnerships may include:
Marina stays or services
Gear evaluation and real-world use
Destination features
Long-term collaboration aligned with how we actually cruise
We are selective and only collaborate where there’s a genuine fit.
Let’s Talk: If you’re interested in working with us or would like more information, we’re happy to start a conversation.
